Giving Back is Rewarding (June)

Making contributions to the community is part of the mission of the Law Offices of Edward P. Graham, Ltd. The month of June brought a couple of opportunities to receive the rewards of assisting the community at large. Read below to learn about those activities.

Law Office Walks for a Cure

Several staff members (pictured below) from the Law Offices of Edward P. Graham, Ltd. participated in the annual North Naperville Relay for Life event sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life is a relay event used to raise awareness and unite a community in the fight against cancer. The North Naperville event was held at Naperville North High School on June 5th-6th and was a huge success. Over 60 teams and 500 participants raised in excess of $200,000.00 for cancer research.

Associate attorney Alex Rechenmacher and staff member Kathy Moran, a cancer survivor, participated in the Relay for Life event, while staff member Kathy Thornton led one of the fundraising teams. If you would like to learn more about supporting the fight against cancer in this manner, contact Kathy Thornton at krthornton@graham-law.com.

Continued Volunteer Efforts

Attorney Ed Graham (pictured below) volunteered at the Will County Legal Aid Clinic in Joliet on Friday, June 25th. His efforts focused on analyzing various family law circumstances, and giving advice and counsel to those financially eligible for free service. This effort marks the latest pro bono effort in which Mr. Graham has participated in at the Legal Aid Clinic in order to provide service to the underserved.
